Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of our Terms of Service. By using MergeShot you agree to follow it. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. What MergeShot is for

MergeShot is an AI-assisted tool for merging 2–3 similar photos you already took of the same person or group — for example burst shots where someone blinked — so everyone has their best expression. You must have consent from everyone identifiable in the photos (see Terms §5).

2. Prohibited uploads

You must not upload photos that contain, depict, or are intended to produce:

• NSFW or sexually explicit content — including nudity, pornography, sexual acts, or content primarily intended for sexual gratification;
• Sexually suggestive content — including provocative poses, lingerie or fetish-focused imagery, or borderline adult material;
• child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualised depiction of minors;
• non-consensual intimate imagery (“revenge porn”) or voyeuristic content;
• graphic violence, gore, torture, or content glorifying harm;
• hate symbols, extremist propaganda, or content promoting violence or discrimination;
• material you do not have the rights and consents to use; or
• anything else illegal or incompatible with our Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited uses and outputs

You must not use MergeShot to:

• generate, request, or obtain NSFW, explicit, or sexually suggestive AI outputs, whether or not the source photos were overtly sexual;
• create deepfakes, face-swap, or other deceptive manipulations of real people (except the permitted expression-merge use case described in the Terms);
• harass, defame, impersonate, or defraud any person;
• circumvent safety checks, rate limits, or access controls; or
• probe or test the system with prohibited content.

We do not offer “uncensored”, “unfiltered”, or NSFW generation. Marketing or use of MergeShot for that purpose is prohibited.

4. Automated checks

Before merging, we run automated checks on your uploads (including AI-based review) for similarity and for content that violates this policy. Uploads that fail may be rejected without charging a credit. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this AUP.

5. Reporting and enforcement

If you believe content on MergeShot violates this policy, contact email. Where required by law (for example suspected CSAM), we report to the competent authorities.

6. Independent service

MergeShot is operated by 4vor4 UG and is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, OpenAI, or other AI model providers. We use third-party cloud AI services only to deliver the merge feature described on our site.
